ACADEMICS:

The Medical University of Lodz offers both 4 & 6-Year Medical School Programs in English, for US and Canadian Citizens/Permanent Residents. Our medical curriculum is patterned after US and Canadian Medical Schools.
4-YEAR PROGRAM:

The 4-Year Medical School Program in English is designed for college graduates, or college students with 90+ credits, who have completed the following Pre-Med Requirements, allowing them to commence their studies in the Basic Sciences Medical Curriculum:

- 2 Semesters (8 Credits) General Chemistry (with Labs)
- 2 Semesters (8 Credits) Organic Chemistry (with Labs)
- 2 Semesters (8 Credits) Physics (with Labs)

During Semesters 1 to 4, students dedicate themselves to studying the Basic Sciences. Through the use of both subject as well as comprehensive review exams, The Medical University of Lodz provides students with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the medical board examinations. Upon completion of the Basic Sciences, students are then required to take and pass Step 1 of the USMLE, after which they proceed to Clinical Rotations in the US, UK, and Poland. At the completion of Core Rotations, students take Part 2 of the USMLE, as well as the CSA Exam, which then allows them to apply to US Residency Programs through the NRMP Match Program.

Students may complete Clinical Rotations at AIM/MUL-affiliated hospitals, or seek their own Cores/Electives at sites convenient to their needs. However, these Rotations must be approved by MUL.
